Welcome to Supporting People. Supporting People is a programme that provides housing related support to vulnerable people living in North East Lincolnshire.

What is Supporting People?

Supporting People is a programme that provides housing related support to vulnerable people living in North East Lincolnshire and

  • 'offers vulnerable people the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing stable environments which enable greater independence'
  • 'delivers high quality and strategically planned housing related services which provide value for money and where necessary complement existing care services'

The programme is delivered locally by North East Lincolnshire Council as the Administering Authority in partnership with the Care Trust Plus and Probation Services.

Who Pays for This?

Short term services, which are less than 2 years, are free of charge. Long term services which are 2 years and more, may incur a charge.

Eligibility Criteria

Supporting People grant pays for housing support services.

'Support services that are provided to any person for the purpose of developing that person's capacity to live independently in accommodation or sustaining his capacity to do so'.
