Work club+ drop-in sessions
Workclub+ drop-in sessions launched at the end of November 2011, offering a "one-stop shop" approach to residents in North East Lincolnshire who are looking to get back into employment and find work.
The drop-in sessions can offer a range of advice to individuals who may have various different issues going on in their life associated with being out of work. The support given at the Workclub+ drop-in sessions enables people to address the challenges they face, plus offer the help needed for them to be able to move forward into work.
The Work club+ drop-in sessions take place at the following venues:
- Willows Community Shop - every Wednesday 9am to 11.30am.
- East Marsh Children's Centre - monthly on a Wednesday, 9.30am to 11.30am.
- Cleethorpes Children’s Centre, Reynolds - fortnightly on a Tuesday November, 2pm- 4pm.
- Central Children's Centre - fortnightly on a Wednesday, 9.30am-11.30am.

Immingham
- 3 May - The Civic Centre, Kennedy Way
- 10 May - The Civic Centre, Kennedy Way
- 17 May - Immingham Jobcentre Plus (9.30am-12 noon)
- 24 May - The Christian Centre, opposite the GP surgery
- 31 May - Hadleigh Road, located near the shop.
All the above sessions, except 17 May, are held 10.30am – 3.30pm
& located in the Humberside Fire Trailer mobile unit.
Local Government Association
The community investment team was approached by the Local Government Association (LGA) to create a film on the Change programme. They short listed nine councils in the UK to showcase examples of best practice within regeneration and, more specifically, what is being done with Working Neighbourhoods Funding. LGA TV shot a five minute film which was shown as a best practice dissemination broadcast at the LGA annual conference June - July 2009. The film is available for viewing on the following link:
