The big history project

In March 2011 The Heritage Lottery Fund awarded a grant of £42,200 to The Big History Project, a new initiative from North East Lincolnshire Council’s Library Service. The Big History Project actively involves members of the visually impaired community in making decisions about and contributing to their local heritage. Through reminiscence sessions and oral history recordings, participants will highlight their interests in local history and contribute their memories of life in the area.
