Restorations & New Acquisitions
A selection of artworks and artefacts from the Council's collection which have never been on show before including artworks from the Franklin Collection, alongside some real treasures which have been lovingly restored.
The exhibition will be on show from Tuesday, April 30, 2013 until Sunday, July 14, 2013 in the Muriel Barker Gallery at the Fishing Heritage Centre which will be open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. Closed on Mondays except Bank Holidays. Entry is Free. All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.
On the evening of Friday May 17 between 5pm and 8pm, as part of Culture 24's Museums at Night, there will be a chance to see conservator David Everigham, working on the restoration of a piece within the gallery space itself.
