Neighbourhood Development aims to work with existing community groups, Elected Members and local people to identify issues of concern and aspirations for the future and work together to make it happen.

Neighbourhood Development aims to work with existing community groups, Elected Members and local people to identify issues of concern and aspirations for the future and work together to make it happen.

Most wards across the Borough have established either a Neighbourhood Forum or a Town and Parish Council who are working on behalf of local people to improve their local area.

How you can get involved

Anybody can get involved with improving their local area by attending a local Forum or Town and Parish Council meeting.

Meetings take place on a monthly basis in your ward.

Community Development Workers and Neighbourhood Coordinators are employed to support Neighbourhood and Community Development across the Borough.
