Tai Chi

Specialist Health Promotion

The Specialist Health Promotion Service is part of the North East Lincolnshire Council. The service works in partnership to develop initiatives and projects designed to improve health whilst also considering the impact of environmental, social, psychological, economic and lifestyle factors. It provides specialist professional support to facilitate health promotion within North East Lincolnshire to enable practitioners to deliver health education through training, support, advice and consultancy. The Health Promotion Co-ordinator for Older People is Sheila Blake. If you would like more information please visit the Specialist Health Promotion website. There are a number of free DVD's available from Specialist Health Promotion. You can get these by contacting the Team on 01472 325454. DVD's available include:

  • Chair based Exercise - Gentle chair exercise to do in your home

  • Tai Chi and Relaxation
