European Blue Badge Scheme

The European Blue Badge Scheme provides a national arrangement of parking concessions for people with severe mobility problems who have difficulty using public transport.

The Scheme also applies to registered blind people, and people with very severe upper limb disabilities who regularly drive a vehicle but cannot turn a steering wheel by hand. It allows badge holders to park close to their destination, but the national concessions apply only to on-street parking.

European Blue Badges are issued by North East Lincolnshire Council. A fee of £2 is charged for issue of the badge which remains valid for a three year period.

Free Bus Passes

The Concessionary Travel Scheme provides concessionary fares for elderly people and people with disabilities on buses and trains across North East Lincolnshire. Please note this scheme only applies to residents of North East Lincolnshire and people living outside of the authority border should refer to their own local authority.

Safe Journey Cards

Travelling on public transport can be difficult for the elderly or disabled. North East Lincolnshire Council in partnership with the Falls Prevention Collaborative have created a series of cut-out cards. You can use these cards to tell the driver about any requirements that you may have when getting on the bus.

Stagecoach Timetables
Please go to the Stagecoach website for details of bus times in North East Lincolnshire.
