North East Lincolnshire has over 60 Parks and Open Spaces ranging from small grass play areas to a Country Park covering over 150 acres. Six of our parks have been awarded Green Flag Status and Peoples Park also holds a Heritage Green Flag.
Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Immingham all take part in the Britain in Bloom Campaign.
We are always interested to know the views of our parks user's so we have an ongoing survey system called GreenSTAT.
All of these areas are managed by the Parks and Countryside Officer, with specialist back-up, such as the Trees and Woodlands and Ecology Officers. North East Lincolnshire Council recognises the importance of biodiversity, so it is vital that all these people are involved with the care of its parks and open spaces.
Play is also an important factor in today's lifestyle, so we offer a wide range of activities in our parks, including 46 equipped play areas.
You can use our interactive map to find the location of our main Parks and Open Spaces.
