Residents of North East Lincolnshire are being encouraged to show how much they love their local parks by celebrating national Love Parks Week, which takes place from 21 – 29 July 2012.
Why not attend an organised event or simply enjoy a walk or picnic in a local park?
Love Parks Week is the nation’s biggest and best celebration of green spaces. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of parks and green spaces, showing the benefits they bring and highlighting the need for continual investment and engagement.
Inspired by the London 2012 Games. North East Lincolnshire Council’s sport development team is hosting free traditional games and activity events for children of all ages in several parks in the area.
