In North East Lincolnshire we aim to maximise the life chances of all children and young people by ensuring that they and their families access the highest quality services for their needs and aspirations.

We recognise that there are groups of young people where additional effort and attention are required in order to ensure that learning benefits are gained and we are developing our SEN strategy within the council's commitment to inclusion and aim to raise the achievement of all our pupils. We believe this is the best way of ensuring that all children have an opportunity to realise their full educational potential. For us, it is important to develop the whole young person and prepare him or her to play a valued role in a community that recognises everyone has a positive contribution to make.
