From the 22nd of December 2011 onwards we have extended our working hours for the convenience of our customers. Please note that you are unable to visit our office in person; we are serving by phone, email and post .
Please feel free to contact us by phone from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. All enquiries, parking permit application forms and appeals must be submitted either by post or email.
On-line payments
Please note that on-line payments cannot be accepted at the moment. An on-line payment facility is currently under development and will be available soon. We apologise for this inconvenience.
Parking strategy
We conducted a borough-wide consultation, asking a number of questions about many aspects parking, especially those areas that had been subject to comment over the years.
As a results of the questionnaire New Parking Strategy is now available to download. Thank you to all the members of the public, groups and organisations that took part in the consultation.

Appeal against a penalty charge notice?
If you wish to make an informal challenge and require further information, please read the Civil Enforcement Procedures.

Please send your appeal to the address in the Parking services "contact us" section. Please quote your vehicle registration number and penalty charge notice number in all correspondence. We accept appeals via the email address too. It is important to show all the evidence you wish to present at an early stage of appeal.

Overview
The Council is responsible for maintaining the public car parks that it provides in a variety of locations throughout North East Lincolnshire. Civil parking enforcement officers regularly patrol the car parks and are also responsible for the enforcement of parking and waiting restrictions throughout the borough.

Civil parking enforcement
North East Lincolnshire Council has adopted the powers under the Traffic Management Act 2004 to enable Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) as of the 5th July 2010. To read about these changes and for further advice and information a guidebook has been produced.
Park Mark - Safer parking in North East Lincolnshire
North East Lincolnshire Council has joined the Park Mark – Safer Parking Scheme and now in the third year has 21 car parks with the Park Mark award.
