Forresters is owned and managed by Rethink, a Mental Health charity. It offers an individualised respite service for people experiencing mental ill health. There are discounts which include reduced rates for Rethink members and carers sharing rooms. Situated close to the New Forest it provides a haven of tranquility. Guests stay for a minimum of one week but can stay up to 6 weeks if required.

Forresters is registered for guests aged 18 - 75, with no age limit for carers. The Forresters care team is there 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year, to encourage guests to join in the daily activities, providing a boost to confidence and sociability.

It is easy to make a referral, just ring up and make a provisional booking. We will send you a Booking Form and Risk Assessment pack. Carers and family of people with mental health problems can also use the service.
