This Plan has been produced following widespread consultation including children, young people, their families and organisations. We would now welcome your comments on the plan
Draft Children and Young People's Plan 2007 - 2010
We have also attached alternative versions of the front cover and the page which sets out what the children and young people have told us are their priorities (Centre Page). We would be grateful if you would let us know which you prefer.

A supplementary section is currently being produced that indicates what our commissioning strategy will be. This will be available at the end of April for comments and will make up the centre of the document. This supplement will then be able to be removed and used by all partner agencies when drawing up their own business plans.
The CYPP replaces a range of both statutory and non-statutory plans. It will be the single, strategic overarching Plan for the local authority and its partners.
Government guidance requires that the CYPP is 'succinct and accessible' and has an unrelenting focus on outcomes. Regulations specify that the CYPP must cover:
-
improvements which the authority and partners intend to make to the outcomes for children and young people
-
a local vision for children and young people
-
as assessment of needs in relation to the outcomes
-
priorities and key actions planned to achieve the outcomes
-
a statement of how resources will be deployed to achieve the outcomes
-
arrangements for performance management to deliver the Plan
Please use this opportunity to comment on the contents and priorities contained within the plan and feedback by 18th May 2007. Please forward your comments to

Children and Young People's Plan 2006 - 2007
This Children and Young People's Plan sets out the vision for the children's agenda for North East Lincolnshire for the next year. This Plan replaces a range of existing statutory and non statutory plans. It is the single, strategic Plan for the local authority and its partners.
The development of this Plan is part of the wider agenda for children and young people which has come out of the Every Child Matters agenda. This is a national framework for the delivery of services to children and young people.
In developing the Children and Young People's Plan we carried out a Needs Assessment.
