Map of cycle parking locations in Grimsby town centre (.pdf  44kb)

Sites include:

Bull Ring Lane (outside Wilkinsons)

Osbourne Street (outside Central Library)

Bethlehem Street (outside Wetherspoons)

Riverhead Bus Station.

For people travelling by train there are cycle parking facilites available on Grimsby Town station.

Cycling is not permitted along Victoria Street West, Bull Ring Lane or on the footpaths surrounding St James Church.  You must wheel your bicycle in any of these zones.

Remember always lock your bike when leaving it, a majority of bicycle thefts are opportunist ones, no matter how long you are leaving your bike for it is essential that you take adequate precautions to ensure that your bike is still there when you return.

You can help to reduce the chances of having your bike stolen by ensuring you have a good quality lock fitted, if you are unsure please contact your local bike shop where they will be able to advise on the range of locks available.  Always lock you bike in a busy, public place where there is less opportuntiy for a thief to work unnoticed. Finally ensure that all parts of your bike are secured to the cycle stand, items such as quick release wheels and saddles can be removed from a bike easily leaving the frame locked to the stand if they are not secured properly.
