Cycling to work has just become a lot easier for people on Europarc, a new bridge was opened today linking Laforey Road and Europarc.  To improve things even further work is currently underway to complete an off road shared cycle/footway between Cleveland Bridge (Gilbey Rd) and the new bridge to Europarc.  When complete, cyclists will have the opportuntiy to travel between Grimsby town centre and Europarc on a designated route.

Pupils at Oasis Academy, Immingham will now be safer getting to school on their bikes following the opening of a shared cycle / footway along both sides of Pelham Road from Green Lane to the Academy site.  The investement saw the resufacing of the entire route and the instalation of dropped kerbs at road junctions.  Further work is scheduled along Pelham Road as part of the Academy development.
