How do I use the service?

To use the Phone 'n' Ride service, you must first register your details. To find out how to register, please to go our registration pages.

Bookings on one of the Phone 'n' Ride Buses can be made up to 6 days in advance and please remember the earlier you ring the more chance you have got of getting your requested journey times.

To make a booking you should telephone the Phone 'n' Ride call centre betwen 8am and 5:30pm (Monday-Friday).  The operator will arrange with you convenient times for your outward and return journeys whilst you are on the line. Contact Details

Should you need to be at your destination for a particular time (for an appointment for example) then please inform the operator when you call and we will offer a pick up time to enable you to be at your destination on time.

On the day of travel  you should be at your designated pick up point 10 minutes before your booking time but please be aware that the bus may arrive a few minutes after this times as well.  This allows the computer system the flexibility to combine your journey with those of other passengers.

Once on board you should show any relevant passes to the driver and pay your fare in cash.

Whilst every effort is made to keep journey times to a minimum for your convenience, the exact route of the vehicle is wholy determined by the bookings made that day and you may not necessarly go straight to your destination.
