The Study

The aim of the study is to develop a transportation strategy that will widen travel choices, improve accessibility to facilities such as work, shops, and leisure facilities, and tackle the effects of traffic. This strategy will encompass the years between now and 2022, and LTP2 will set out what is to be done in the 5 years from 2006.

LTP2 will be consistent with national and regional transport policies. The study will develop a  strategy that not only has the support and acceptance of the community, but also helps North East Lincolnshire Council to achieve a Local Transport Plan which the Government will consider worthy of supporting.
