North East Lincolnshire Council

Could 2018 be the year you start your business?

From giving up booze to staying fit and healthy, lots of us make resolutions at this time of year, but how many set their goal as high as to establish their own business?

With the help of the Top Town Market trader incentive scheme, you could be one of the new local businesses established this year.

North East Lincolnshire Council, working in partnership with ENGIE, are continuing to offer their market trader incentive scheme for 2018.

There has never been a more exciting time to become a market trader. In the last year, the market has introduced a dedicated event space and seating area to the market along with the incentive scheme, and has lots of events planned for the forthcoming year.

New traders will receive:

  • 100 per cent reduced rent for 12 weeks on new lines then a further 50 per cent reduced rent for 12 weeks on all vacant stalls that have been vacant for six weeks or more. Normal rent rates will be in place after this time.
  • 100 per cent reduced rent for six weeks on existing lines then a further 50 per cent reduced rent for 12 weeks on all vacant stalls that have been vacant for six weeks or more. Normal rent rates will be in place after this time.

Both schemes have qualifying conditions.
