North East Lincolnshire Council has once again teamed up with the Big Community Switch, a free scheme which could help you cut your energy bills.
The scheme offers people the chance to have energy companies bid for their business – each hoping to offer the customer the lowest energy tariff.
The process is obligation free, with nothing to lose, and could see you saving a hefty sum.
The latest round launched on Tuesday 3 April and you have until Monday 21 May to sign up to the scheme.
You can register online at www.nelincs.gov.uk/HomeEnergy.
Those who do not have access to the internet can seek assistance at their local library or Family Hub. If you are intending to sign up using one of these locations, don’t forget to take along a recent gas and electricity bill.
Family and friends may also be able to reap the benefits, as up to five separate addresses are able to be registered under one email address.
For more information on the Big Community Switch visit www.nelincs.gov.uk/HomeEnergy or call the Home Energy Team on (01472) 324782 (Option 5).
