Bus stop improvements starting on Monday

North East Lincolnshire Council, working in partnership with ENGIE, will be starting work on a number of bus stop improvements across the borough from Monday 20 February 2017.

The locations affected are:

  • 6 bus stops on Belvoir road, Cleethorpes – under give and take traffic management
  • 2 bus stops on Taylor Avenue, Cleethorpes – Temporary traffic signals will be in place between 9:30am and 3:30pm
  • 2 bus stops on Middlethorpe Road, Cleethorpes – Temporary traffic signals will be in place between 9:30am and 3:30pm
  • 1 bus stops on Stallingborough Road, Healing – Temporary traffic signals will be in place between 9:30am and 3:30pm

The upgrades to the bus stops will involve putting raised bus stop kerbs in place and a tactile crossing facility to improve accessibility and safety for bus passengers.

All the affected bus stops will be closed during the works and the full programme of works is expected to be complete by 31 March 2017.
