Three and four year old funding
Universal 15 hours funding – ALL 3 and 4 year old children are eligible for 570 hours a year (15 hours a week for 38 weeks a year), the term after their 3rd birthday, up until they enter reception or they are Statutory school age (the term after they are five). This is known as the Universal offer of Flexible Free Entitlement

You must meet the criteria:
As a parent/carer you (and their partner where applicable) should be seeking the free childcare to enable them to work
Both parents or the parents and partner or the lone parent must be earning the equivalent of 16 hours at the National Living Wage ie £115 a week or the National Minimum Wage up to £100,000 per parent/carer.
You may also be eligible if one or both parents are employed but away from work eg. Maternity, paternity, adoption leave, long term sickness.
You can choose for your child to receive their early years provision from a registered provider. You may claim your childs Universal Free Entitlement and Extended Entitlement from more than one provider however, no more than 2 providers in a single day. Where available this can be taken between 6am and 8pm, 7 days a week and all year round (not just term time).
Eligibility for the Extended Free Entitlement is determined by HMRC through the governments online childcare service.
