Buy4NothernLincolnshire is an initiative by public sector organisations in North and North East Lincolnshire to promote public section contract opportunities to interested businesses.
Here at North East Lincolnshire Council we are looking to make it possible for businesses of all sizes, but especially small businesses, to tender for work with us and other public sector bodies in this area.
We are working closely with key partners to look at how we can align our tendering processes and procedures to ensure all businesses can feel confident of applying for opportunities.
As a purchasing organisation, we buy a large number of different supplies and services with our suppliers ranging from small local businesses and third sector organisations up to larger national organisations. However, we want to encourage as many local suppliers as possible to get involved with selling to us.
In order to do this we have put together this information to give help and guidance to you if you feel you want to work with us, but may be put off for whatever reason. We hope this will support you to be able to reach the standards required to engage with us in the public sector procurement process. By doing this we are hopeful that this will increase local competitiveness and thus enable you grow and develop your business.
YORtender – All our tendering is done through an e-procurement system called YORtender. You will need to register on this system to be able to access any tendering opportunities that we advertise, but you will find some guidance on how to do this.
In the related website section at the bottom of this page, you will find links here to our partners’ websites including Shoreline and Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education (GIFHE). These will give you details of how these organisations go about the procurement process and details of any contracts that they may have coming up for tendering.
