North East Lincolnshire Council is urging key workers who require childcare to get in touch.
The Council has established a temporary childcare arrangement for key workers whose regular childcare venue has closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Three emergency childcare hubs have been established across North East Lincolnshire for those in need of childcare for babies and children up to the age of 5.
Councillor Ian Lindley, portfolio holder for children and young people’s services said: “We’re keen to support those that are still working during this pandemic.
“Many childcare settings have had to close because of the pandemic and Government guidance so we are stepping in to support those that are still working and need childcare.”
Parents can claim their 15 and 30 hour free childcare entitlement where eligible.
To find out more about the temporary childcare provision, parents are being urged to contact the Families First Information Service (FFIS) on 01472 326292.
