Crime reduction fund deadline approaching: apply now
The deadline for applications to the Police and Crime Commissioners crime reduction fund is rapidly approaching.
The fund, which was set up last year to help community groups tackle a number of problems in their areas, is worth up to £50,000 per organisation over two years.
The North East Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership (CSP) crime reduction fund is funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside (PCC) and is managed by Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire (VANEL).
Groups who work to address issues such as anti-social behaviour, substance and alcohol misuse, and crime including domestic abuse and violent crime, as well as work promoting community cohesion are invited to apply.
Applications must demonstrate how they contribute to one of the PCC’s aims:
- Deliver increasingly self-sustaining and safe communities in the Humber area;
- Build public confidence in the agencies involved in creating safer communities and
- Promote services to victims and the vulnerable that meet their needs
The deadline for the fund is Thursday 6 September 2018.
