Paddling pool and sand pit
Cleethorpes paddling pool
The paddling pool is open from 27th May (subject to change) to 31st August, seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm.
The paddling pool is approximately six inches deep, with a small fountain. It is suitable for all of the family, but please be advised that children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Please be aware that during exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or technical problems, the paddling pool may be closed.
The paddling pool is free to use and has Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Lifeguards patrol the paddling pool and are able to provide first aid and pool safety advice to everyone. A toilet and baby changing facilities are available on site.
Cleethorpes sand pit
Cleethorpes Sand Pit forms one end of the Cleethorpes Playtrail, and is situated in the middle of the Cleethorpes Boating Lake next to the Discovery Centre.
The sand pit is open from 1st May to 31st August, seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm.
The sandpit is very popular with children with it’s Galleon Ship and Pulley Wheel and Bucket. The surrounding area also contains:
- Balancing Beam
- Wood Step on/off logs
- Spinning Discs
- Mushroom Spinners
- Musical Chimes
- Resonance Stone
The Neighbourhood Operations Beach Safety Team patrol the area 365 days of the year. Please contact the Beach Safety Area Manager if you would like any more information about:
