Boating Lake

On 17 May 2019, the management of the Discovery Centre, sandpit and paddling pool have been transferred to a new community provider, Your Community Hub. Visit the Cleethorpes Discovery Centre on Facebook for more information.

Cleethorpes Boating Lake

The Boating Lake is at the southern end of Cleethorpes next to Cleethorpes Local Nature Reserve. There are two main lakes with a connecting channel. The lakes are surrounded by amenity grass, ideal for picnics.

The north lake is open for fishing and is used by a model boat association. Set in the middle of this lake is an illuminated fountain. At the northern most tip of the lake is an open air paddling pool. The south lake is open for the hire of rowing boats and pedalos in the summer season.

Walking around the boating lake? Follow our boating lake tree trail. Full details available in the leaflet Cleethorpes Boating Lake Tree Trail (PDF)
