Find free support for your New Year health kick at a series of drop in sessions with North East Lincolnshire Council’s Wellbeing service.
The team has set up a series of drop in events across North East Lincolnshire between 8 and 19 January where visitors can enter a prize draw to win a Fitbit and a Freshney Place shopping voucher.
Between Monday 8 and Friday 19 January the Wellbeing Service are delivering the Live Well For Longer Campaign.
Anyone can pop along to find out more about how the team can help improve their health and wellbeing.
The Live Well For Longer campaign has been designed to support individuals and their families to live longer, healthier and happier lives.
One of the ways of doing this is by taking advantage of the programmes offered by the service, including stop-smoking support, help with mental and emotional wellbeing and healthy eating and physical activity.
Cllr Jane Hyldon-King, portfolio holder for health and wellbeing said:
“The New Year is when many people make resolutions to stop smoking, lose weight or improve relationships.
“The key to success is setting achievable goals and accessing the support provided by the Wellbeing service to make sure you reach them.
“This month the service are holding several drop-in events for the public to attend and find out what can be done to help them in their efforts.”
