Go off-road for Children in Need this autumn

North East Lincolnshire Council is holding a sponsored ramble for Children in Need.

Join thousands of people across the country going off the beaten path this autumn as part of the Countryfile Ramble.

The charity walk will take in the sights of Tetney Lock on Sunday 13 October 2019 at 9:30am.

The event is expected to last about two hours and is suitable for families, dog walkers and individuals and could even be featured on Countryfile.

Get your walking boots on and help change children’s lives across the UK by taking part. Pudsey ears and bobble hats are encouraged, but not necessary.

Ramblers will be meeting outside the Crown and Anchor pub and are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the day and to bring a drink.

Toilets will not be available along the ramble route, so please keep this in mind.

Share your pictures from the day on social media by using the #RambleNEL hashtag.

Whether you’re taking part or just feeling charitable, you can donate by visiting the JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/NELincsChildrenInNeedRamble2019.

Collections will need to be submitted via the JustGiving page by Friday 18 October 2019.

Money raised for Children in Need helps children across the country, including going to good causes in North East Lincolnshire.

In past years, local charities such as Climb 4, Foresight and Grimsby Town’s Football in the Community initiative have benefited from Children in Need fundraising.
