There is no council tax discount for an empty property.
If a property has been empty for over two years you may be charged 200% council tax, and over 5 years you may be charged 300%.

We can help to find a buyer for the property, or we can advise owners on how to bring an empty property back into use. There are loans and grant schemes available to help fund (or contribute towards) refurbishing an empty property. The schemes are dependent on funding from the Council.
