Social rented housing
North East Lincolnshire Council housing stock was transferred in 2005 to Shoreline Housing Partnership – a non-profit housing organisation. ‘Council Housing’ is now known as ‘Social Housing’.
Shoreline HP is a Housing Association which manages and maintains the stock and are responsible for letting the property and maintenance; and should be contacted directly for property repairs.
Housing associations are non-profit organisations set up to provide affordable accommodation for people who cannot afford to access market housing. Homes are offered for rent and low cost home ownership. People interested in a housing association property can register on Home Choice Lincs and contact any of the housing associations listed at the bottom of the page.
Home Choice Lincs
Home Choice Lincs is part of a national initiative called Choice Based Lettings, or CBL for short. CBL brings local councils and housing associations together to jointly advertise homes available for rent. Find out how to use the service and how to register for a social rented home by visiting the Home Choice Lincs website. You can also email Home Choice Lincs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
