Improvement works to the busy Grimsby Hospital junction on Scartho Road will soon be completed.
As we move towards the final stages of works there will be overnight closures on Forsythia Drive (main access road into the hospital) from 7pm to 7am. This will start on Monday 9 July and take approximately one week. A diversion route will be in place.
This will allow carriageway resurfacing works and road markings to be applied; following this work new traffic signals will be commissioned.
During the daytime Scartho Road will continue to be controlled under temporary lights as the remaining works are completed.
The project team have been working closely with the hospital to ensure emergency vehicles are all aware of the closures.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of July.
