Clee Fields

Clee Fields Playing Pitches is still undergoing major redevelopment, with a total investment of £4.9 million, with £1.5 million funded by The Premier League, The FA and the government via the Football Foundation. The site will see two new state-of-the-art 3G Pitches, one of which is suitable for hosting Rugby training and matches.

It isn’t just the football pitches that are being developed, as the site will have a new pavilion, housing multiple changing room facilities and a newly resurfaced and increased capacity car park.

Construction has progressed well at the site with an anticipated completion date at the end of April. The Council has recently started the process of appointing an operator for the site.

Once construction is completed the new operators will have time to fit out the pavilion and mobilise the facility, staff hiring and booking arrangements. Check here for updates on a confirmed opening date.
