DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Union – Putting the needs of the community at the heart of commissioning\nSince 2007\, North East Lincolnshire Council and the North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group have been working very closely together to deliver health services in North East Lincolnshire. As this relationship has developed\, both organisations looked forward to the next stage to consider how they could be better equipped to deal with the on-going challenges faced by local government and the NHS. \nIn 2017\, a Union Board was established to integrate both organisations\, as far as practicable and appropriate\, in order to maximise use of our combined resources and focus. The focus being\, to improve the health\, care and wellbeing of the local population of North East Lincolnshire. \nA Section 75 Agreement is now in place which allows a local authority and a CCG to jointly commission social care and public health services. DESCRIPTION:The Union – Putting the needs of the community at the heart of commissioning\nSince 2007\, North East Lincolnshire Council and the North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group have been working very closely together to deliver health services in North East Lincolnshire. As this relationship has developed\, both organisations looked forward to the next stage to consider how they could be better equipped to deal with the on-going challenges faced by local government and the NHS. \nIn 2017\, a Union Board was established to integrate both organisations\, as far as practicable and appropriate\, in order to maximise use of our combined resources and focus. The focus being\, to improve the health\, care and wellbeing of the local population of North East Lincolnshire. \nA Section 75 Agreement is now in place which allows a local authority and a CCG to jointly commission social care and public health services.
