Next stop Cleethorpes Country Park for conservation volunteers

Cleethorpes Country Park is the next event stop for the Grounds Force conservation volunteers on Monday 11 November.

If you can help, the team will be cutting back and removing invasive hawthorn bushes from one of the grazing areas.

Meet at the car park at the end of Park Lane at 10am. North East Lincolnshire Council’s ecology officers will be on site until 2pm but volunteers don’t need to stay for the full four hours.

They will provide tools, equipment and any training that’s needed. All volunteers need to bring is their enthusiasm and a packed lunch if they’re staying for the full four hours.

People don’t need previous experience and everyone can work at their own pace.

If you are interested please contact ecology assistant Gary Cooper by email at gary.cooper@nelincs.gov.uk to sign up and find out more.
