Programme of road surface treatment starting next week
A number of roads will be resurfaced in North East Lincolnshire this month as the final part of the annual surface treatment programme is rolled out.
Works will start on Monday 14 October and it is expected that all the locations will be completed by Friday 18 October, subject to weather conditions.
The micro asphalt process due to be used is a quick, efficient and economic method of surface treatment which will prolong the lifespan of the carriageway and ensures it is fit for purpose.
On the day of the works, a temporary road closure will be required and on street parking will be prohibited. But the road will be reopened to vehicles shortly after the micro asphalt treatment is carried out.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
Residents and businesses affected by the works will be contacted directly by the contractor, Kiely Brothers of Birmingham, with further information and instructions.
The roads in this surface treatment programme are:
- Lisburn Grove, Grimsby
- Regent Gardens, Grimsby
- Rosemary Avenue, Grimsby
- Stirling Street, Grimsby
- Park Lane, Cleethorpes
- Robert Close, Immingham
- Roval Drive, Immingham
- Sonja Crest, Immingham
- Valda Vale, Immingham
- Trafalgar Park, New Waltham
- Elm Road, Waltham
