Public Notice of Temporary One Way Restriction of Traffic Order – 6 December 2018

(TEMPORARY ONE WAY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to implement a one way restriction on the below mentioned roads, from Monday 7th January, 2019 to Tuesday 7th July 2020;
- High Street – travelling in a north-easterly direction along High Street from its junction with St Peters Avenue to its junction with Grant Street Roundabout.
- Alexandra Road – travelling in a south-easterly direction along Alexandra Road from its junction with Grant Street Roundabout to its junction with Sea Road Roundabout.
- Cross Street – travelling in a south-easterly direction along Cross Street from its junction with High Street to its junction with Market Street
- Osbourne Street- travelling in a north-westerly direction along Osbourne Street from its junction with Market Street to its junction with High Street
This temporary One Way restriction is required to safely facilitate the movement of traffic during the regeneration works. Exemptions will be for emergency vehicles only. The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/category/public-notice/ and www.roadworks.org.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 7th January 2019, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
