Public Notice of Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order – 18 July 2019

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council has made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motorised vehicle from proceeding along the highways detailed in Schedule 1:1;

This temporary prohibition is required to safely facilitate the Orsted Great Grimsby 10K Run and 2.5K Fun Run.  The dates and times above are correct at the point of print.  Local diversions will be signposted and plans published online at: www.roadworks.org and https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/category/public-notice/.  A plan of the closure will be available online at the council contact centre.  Exemptions will be for authorised vehicles only:

  • Liveried Local Authority Vehicles (ENGIE/ NELC)
  • Emergency Vehicles (Fire, Police, Ambulance, Coast Guard)
  • Authorised Contractors / Utilities / Waste

The Order will come into operation at 06:00hrs on Sunday 21st July 2019 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three days unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
