Public Notice of Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order – 18 October 2018

(FREEMAN STREET, GRIMSBY & ST PETERS AVENUE, CLEETHORPES – TTRO 18-054)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council has made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from proceeding across the streets listed below between 00:00hrs and 06:00hrs on the following dates:
- between Monday 22nd October 2018 and Wednesday 24th October 2018 and;
- between Monday 14th January and Wednesday 16th January 2018
St Peters Avenue
- between Thursday 25th October 2018 and Friday 26th October 2018 and;
- between Thursday 17th January 2018 and Friday 18th January 2018
This temporary prohibition is required to safely facilitate the installation and removal of Christmas illuminations on sections of Freeman Street between its junctions with Hainton Square and Church Street and on St Peters Avenue between its junctions with High Street and Bowling Lane. Diversion routes will be signposted. The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 22nd October 2018, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
