(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC MANOEUVRE BANNED TURNS) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to implement a prohibition of traffic manoeuvres restriction at the below detailed junctions from Monday 7th January 2018 to Tuesday 7th July 2020;
Prohibition of Right Turns
High Street – No vehicle will be able to turn right from High Street in to St Peters Avenue
Cross Street (North) – No vehicle will be able to turn right out of Cross Street onto High Street
Grant Street – No vehicle will be able to turn right out of Grant Street on to High Street
Sea Road – No vehicle will be able to turn right out of Sea Road on to Alexandra Road
Prohibition of Left Turns
Osbourne Street – No vehicle will be able to turn left out of Osbourne Street on to High Street
Market Street – No vehicle will be able to turn left out of Market Street on to Alexandra Road
This temporary prohibition is required in order to maintain a minimum safe working area for the regeneration works taking place in the highway. The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: www.roadworks.org and https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/category/public-notice/.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 7th January 2019, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
