Public Notice of Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order – 6 December 2018

(PHASE 1 – CLEETHORPES REGENERATION PROJECT CLOSURES – TTRO 18-050)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from proceeding along the below sections of highway from Monday 7th January 2019 to Tuesday 7th July 2020;
Overnight Closures commencing at 7pm – 7am
- from its junction with St Peters Avenue to its junction with Cross Street, continuing to
- its junction with Osbourne Street, continuing to
- its junction with Grant Street Roundabout
- from its junction with Grant Street Roundabout to its junction with Sea Road Roundabout
- from the entrance to High Street carpark to the junction with College Street
This temporary prohibition is required in order to maintain a minimum safe working area for the regeneration works taking place in the highway.
The dates and times above are indicative at the point of print. Information on exact dates will be displayed by advanced warning signs on street leading upto closure times, however should adverse weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: www.roadworks.org and https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/category/public-notice/.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 7th January 2019, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
