Public Notice of Temporary Prohibition Traffic order – 21st June 2018

(A SECTION OF ROPERY STREET, GRIMSBY – 18-025)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from proceeding along a section of Ropery Street, Grimsby, between the below stated times and extents:

Ropery Street – Commencement of closure from a point adjacent to the western property boundary of no.27 Ropery Street in a westerly direction for a distance no greater than 25m. The closure will commence at 06:30hrs on 9th July 2018 until 18:00hrs on 21st July 2018.

This temporary prohibition is required to safely facilitate the installation of a new sewer connection in the carriageway, a plan will be available to view online.  The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the closure will commence when it is safe to do so.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 9th July 2018 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
