(TEMPORARY ‘ONE WAY’ RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to implement a ONE WAY restriction on of Pasture Street, Grimsby, between 06:00hrs and 11:30hrs on Sunday 21st July 2019, extent of the restriction are detailed below:
For vehicles traveling in a Westerly direction along Pasture Street from the junction with Victoria Street South to the junction of East Street will become a temporary ‘one way’, which will supersede the current restriction between 06:00hrs and 11:30hrs.
This temporary prohibition is required to safely facilitate the Orsted Great Grimsby 10K Run and 2.5K Fun Run. The dates and times above are correct at the point of print. Local diversions will be signposted and plans published online at: www.roadworks.org and https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/category/public-notice/. A plan of the closure will be available online at the council contact centre. Exemptions will be for authorised vehicles only:
- Liveried Local Authority Vehicles (ENGIE/ NELC)
- Emergency Vehicles (Fire, Police, Ambulance, Coast Guard)
- Authorised Contractors / Utilities / Waste
The Order will come into operation on Sunday 21st July 2019 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three days unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
