Public Notice of Temporary Speed Restriction of Traffic Order – 26 September 2019

(A SECTION OF HUMBERSTON AVENUE, HUMBERSTON – 19-104)
(TEMPORARY 30mph SPEED RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council has made, an Order, the effect of which will not permit any vehicle to be driven at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on the lengths of road, during times and dates specified below:

Humberston Avenue B1219 – from a point not more than 50mtrs east of the eastern kerbline of Cannon Oakes Court to a point no more than 200mtrs west of its junction with Tetney Road (A1031).

The 30mph restriction is to supersede the current 40mph limit that is in situ along Humberston Avenue.

The commencement date for the 30mph restriction will be Monday 1 October, 2019 to Thursday 1 April, 2021.

This temporary restriction is required under Road Safety Advice to safely facilitate the ongoing housing development works within the area.  The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should any conditions impact the commencement dates the restriction will commence when it is deemed safe to do so.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 1 October 2019 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier).
