North East Lincolnshire Council

School crossing patrols

We currently have vacancies in a number of locations within North East Lincolnshire for School Crossing Patrols. If you are interested in becoming a School Crossing Patrol Officer please contact the Traffic Team on 01472 313131, selecting option 6.

We provide School Crossing Patrols, or lollipop men and women, to assist children, parents and guardians on their journeys to and from school.

The law authorises us to provide School Crossing Patrols but does not require us to do so. In practice we will provide a patrol subject to an assessment of the site.
