Sections of defective carriageway will be resurfaced overnight on Friday 15 May on Cromwell Road and Boulevard Avenue in Grimsby.
The work, identified following a carriageway resurfacing scheme in 2019, is required to remove and replace the sections of defective carriageway to prevent further deterioration and ensure the lifespan of the road.
The works will take place at the following locations and times on Friday 15 May:
- Cromwell Road, outside the Fire Station, between 10pm and 6am
- Boulevard Avenue, between Market Hotel roundabout and the railway overbridge, between 9pm and midnight.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, but reduce disruption to motorists, temporary traffic signals will be in place. No road closures will be required.
North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE, will manage and oversee the works with contractor EC Surfacing completing the works.
The works will be carried out at no cost to North East Lincolnshire Council or ENGIE with the remedial work still under a correction period.
