NEL Go-ride

A fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.

British Cycling’s Go-Ride programme is now active in North East Lincolnshire and North East Lindsey.

NEL Go-Ride is the young rider section of Lindsey Roads Cycling Club and aims to develop cyclists from 5 to 16 years. Go-Ride meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at Oasis Academy Wintringham, Weelsby Avenue, Grimsby, DN32 0AZ.

There are two groups:

  • 09.30am-11.00am Mainly for riders with limited experienced and/or those wanting a leisurely cycling experience.
  • 11.00am-12.30pm A more cycle sport oriented session, suited to those who have been riding for a few months or more and for those who may wish, in due course, to compete.

To join NEL Go-Ride or to request more information, please email the NEL Go-ride team at letsgocyclingnel@outlook.com.

Breeze Bike Rides

Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun. The aim is to help thousands more women feel confident and comfortable about going out on a ride.

Our local Breeze Champions organise fun, social, local bike rides for women. Rides go at a speed that suits everyone, and they usually include a stop at a cafe so everyone can have a drink and a chat. For more information contact the local Breeze Champions at breezeridesnortheastlincs@gmail.com.

Visit the Breeze Bike Rides website for more details.
