North East Lincolnshire Council

Tails are wagging…Woofs is back

FOLLOWING the popularity of last year’s Woofs dog show, the council is delighted to announce the event is back for 2016.

With over 2,000 people attending the first show in 2015, the community pride team, who coordinate the day, are looking to build on their success and bring a bigger and better event to Cleethorpes this summer.

Woofs will take place on Wednesday, August 17, from 10am to 4pm at the Meridian showground in the resort.

The event will be free for spectators to attend and entries to the various classes, which will be announced shortly, will be just £1 per dog per class.

Spaces for stallholders are still available for a charge of £25 for non-food traders and £50 for food traders. A limited number of charity stalls are also available free-of-charge.

For more information about stall bookings, possible sponsorship opportunities and prize donations, contact community pride on (01472) 323274 or 324762.
