Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order – 15th February 2018

(SECTION OF QUEENS PARADE AND OXFORD STREET, CLEETHORPES – 18-004)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council has made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from proceeding along a section Queens Parade Cleethorpes between 07:00hrs on 19th February to 18:00hrs on Saturday 5th May, 2018.  The extent of the closure will be:

Queens Parade

  • From the roundabout junction with Hardys Road, Thrunscoe Road and Taylors Avenue to its junction with Whites Road, to
  • Its roundabout junction with Oxford Street to,
  • Its junction with Kingsway

Oxford Street

  • From its junction with Queens Parade to its junction with Bradford Avenue

This temporary prohibition is required to allow the safe facilitation of resurfacing works.  Diversion route will be signposted and available to view online.  The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 19th February 2018 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
