THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(A SECTION OF A18 ‘BARTON STREET’, GRIMSBY – 17-024)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the A18 Barton Street, the closure will be phased as follows:
Phase 3 commencing Monday 8th May 2017 – between 07:00 and 18:00hrs
A18 from its junction with Thoroughfare, Ashby cum Fenby to its junction with Borough Boundary with Lincolnshire County Council.
Phase 2 commencing Tuesday 9th May to Friday 12th May 2017 – between 07:00 and 18:00hrs
A18 from its junction with Waltham Road, Barnoldby le Beck to its junction with Thoroughfare, Ashby cum Fenby.
Phase 1 commencing Monday 15th May to Friday 19th May 2017 – between 07:00 and 18:00hrs
A18 from its junction with A46 ‘Oaklands’ Roundabout to its junction with Waltham Road, Barnoldby le Beck.

This temporary prohibition is required to safely undertake routine maintenance, repairs, inspections and any other works deemed necessary by North East Lincolnshire Council. The dates above are correct at the point of print however should weather conditions impact this, the works will go ahead when it is safe to do so. Diversion routes will be signposted and available to view online at NELC Public Notices section.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 8th May, 2017 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
