Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order – 31st August 2017

(GREAT COATES LEVEL CROSSING, WOAD LANE, GREAT COATES – LV17- 121)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council has made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding across the Great Coates Level Crossing, Woad Lane, Great Coates, between the dates and times below:

  • Between 07:00hrs to 15:00hrs Tuesday 29th August 2017
  • between 23:30hrs to 09:15hrs Saturday 2nd September to Sunday 3rd September 2017
  • between 23:50hrs to 05:30hrs Wednesday 20th September to Saturday 23rd September 2017

This temporary prohibition is required to allow the safe inspection of rail depths and annual barrier testing at the level crossing, to be safely undertaken.  Diversion route will be signposted and detailed as: Woad Lane – Station Road – Great Coates Road – A1136 – A180  – Estate Road 2 – Estate Road No 5 – Woad Lane and vice versa.  The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions impact the works they will go ahead when it is safe to do so.

The Order will come into operation on Thursday 29th August 2017 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The road will be reopened as soon as possible.
